1. Why now?

On the eve of Italy’s referendum vote, we open a space to pause, reflect, and choose. It’s an invitation to go vote—and, in doing so, become the world we wish to see.

2. The Work

Born from the collaboration between Casa Preti and Claire Fontaine, the work merges multiple work jackets into a single monumental form. A symbol of the transcendence of individualism, the jacket becomes a collective body, a political shell, a shared memory. Claire Fontaine’s “Capitalism” screenprint traverses its surface like a living mark, reactivating the spirit of ’68 in our present.

3. Limited Edition

Born from the collaboration between Casa Preti and the artist collective, these collectible uniforms transform the work jacket into a shared, political, and civic symbol. Each piece is unique, designed to be worn as an act

4. Lattarini Jackets

The jackets originate from the Lattarini quarter, the historic heart of Palermo and the original home of the Casa Preti maison.

Here, amid the vestiges of the ancient Arab market and postwar influences, the work jacket has defined whole generations.
Through a sartorial upcycling process, Casa Preti salvages and reassembles original market jackets, crafting new forms from well-worn materials.

It’s a way to honor and celebrate the past by transforming scraps into vision: the neighborhood becomes fabric, memory turns into the future.

5. The Double Manifesto

Two moments, two gestures: the first is the famous 1968 manifesto in which the word “Capitalism” collapses beneath a worker’s boot. The second is a textual manifesto co-created by Casa Preti and Claire Fontaine, to be handed out during the event to mark another moment of choice.

Two languages that meet, overlap, and answer each other.
