La collezione Resort 2027 di Casa Preti, Ama, nasce da una riflessione sull’identità e sul viaggio.
Ispirata a “Le città invisibili” di Italo Calvino, la collezione attraversa luoghi che non appartengono alla geografia, ma allo sguardo. Città costruite dalla memoria, dal desiderio e dall’incontro, in cui ogni approdo coincide con una nuova possibilità di conoscersi.
L’identità non è un punto di partenza né una destinazione definitiva. È un processo che prende forma nella relazione con l’altro. Ogni incontro modifica ciò che siamo, ogni viaggio restituisce una parte di noi che ancora non conoscevamo.
“Ama” è un imperativo di pace. Un invito a riconoscere nell’altro la condizione stessa della nostra esistenza, affermando la possibilità di costruire una comunità fondata sull’ascolto, sulla cura e sulla reciproca trasformazione.
La ricerca sartoriale si sviluppa attraverso volumi rigorosi e senza tempo, progettati per accompagnare il corpo negli anni piuttosto che inseguire la stagione. Fibre naturali come seta, cotone e lana dialogano con il nylon rigenerato ECONYL®, ottenuto dal recupero di reti da pesca, residui tessili e altri materiali di scarto, trasformando ciò che è stato abbandonato in una nuova possibilità.
Ogni capo è pensato come un luogo da abitare, capace di custodire il tempo, le esperienze e le persone che lo attraversano.
Perché amare significa comprendere che il luogo da raggiungere non è una destinazione.
È la parte di noi che scopriamo soltanto incontrando l’altro.

Casa Preti’s Resort 2027 collection, Ama, is a reflection on identity and the journey.
Inspired by *Invisible Cities* by Italo Calvino, the collection moves through places that belong not to geography, but to perception. Cities built from memory, desire and encounters, where every arrival becomes an opportunity to discover a new part of ourselves.
Identity is neither a point of departure nor a final destination. It is a continuous process shaped through encounters with others. Every meeting transforms who we are, and every journey returns a part of ourselves that we had not yet discovered.
Ama is an imperative for peace. An invitation to recognize, in others, the very condition of our own existence, affirming the possibility of building a community founded on listening, care and mutual transformation.
The sartorial research unfolds through rigorous, timeless silhouettes designed to accompany the body across the years rather than a single season. Natural fibres such as silk, cotton and wool are paired with regenerated ECONYL® nylon, created from discarded fishing nets, textile waste and other recovered materials, transforming what has been abandoned into a new possibility.
Every garment is conceived as a place to inhabit, capable of preserving time, experiences and the people who pass through it.
To love is to understand that the place we seek is not a destination.
It is the part of ourselves that can only be discovered through encountering another.
